I don't really like to talk about myself. If I start referring to myself in the third person, please...slap me.

Here goes.

My name is Nick...and I am a photographer. ..."Hi Nick."

I found my way to California in May of 1995 where I took root in Hollywood. I still find Los Angeles new and intriguing and full of subjects to explore...photographically as well as socially. During the early days of finding work in the film industry, both legit and non-legit, I began relying heavily on photography as an emotionally cleansing activity...it was my form of meditation and a way I could reflect on my own existance.

My favorite subjects are sometimes the most mundane. My next most favorite subject of interest would have to be people. Not always the "handsome" or "glamourous" ones - it's much more fulfilling to find that diamond in the rough...brush some schmutz away...look at it again...then put a little of the schmutz back where it was. People and their animals are fascinating. It's nice to catch people, unaware while treating their animal companions as equals.
